Nominated for the 2025 Society of Dyers and Colourists annual competition ‘Colour for adversity’, this project responded to global textile adversities through natural dyeing using foraged exotic plant species. This project address multiple facets of well-being: the health of our environment, our communities and ourselves.
A circular system was also proposed, which began with foraging, encouraging a slower-paced process that carried through to the production of the garment, and lastly to the byproduct of compost and renewable energy.
